I had thought when they came out with X Transform they had dropped the developer for Windows boxes. So they came out with X Transformer so you could use most of the features and generate a DNG you could use with other developers. They started working on it for Windows, but it must have been a lot more work than first thought. You would have to Email Brian but I know at one time the Windows users were whining because the developer was only available on the Mac. I also thought that Iridient Transformer was PC compatible. I hadn't tried it with my X3F's but will. Iridient does a masterful job with my Fuji RAF's. The only down side for some will be - the developer is only available for the Mac. It has nice highlight recovery.Īll and all a nice package especially considering it is a one man company. It has indecent control of shadows, midtowns and highlights. It has deconvolution sharpening for caused where diffraction sets in or small camera movement. It has features that cannot not be found elsewhere. If you dont find your favorite camera on this list please let us know. It is the only package that does the Fuji X-Trans right.
